By Erik Thompson May 29, 2024 | 7:00 PM

The legendary hip-hop group Salt-N-Pepa will be a part of music history once again, becoming the first female rappers to have their own action figures made in their likeness. The San Francisco collectible manufacturer, Super7, is planning on releasing a set featuring two figurines for emcees Salt and Pepa that will be dressed in their iconic looks from their breakthrough “Push It” video from 1987. The Salt-N-Pepa set will unfortunately not include the group’s longtime DJ, Spinderella. Super7 has released a series of action figures based on hip-hop legends like Outkast, Notorious B.I.G., Beastie Boys, RZA, Run-D.M.C., and MF Doom, but these new Salt-N-Pepa action figures represent the first time any female rappers have been immortalized by Super7 as of yet.
