André 3000 is finally hitting the road on a full-scale US tour to support his 2023 flute-focused album, New Blue Sun. The former OutKast rapper has named his just announced run of jazz centered shows, New Blue Sun – Live In Concert. André 3000 will be joined at these gigs by musicians Carlos Niño, Nate Mercereau, Surya Botofasina, and Deantoni Parks, all of whom played on New Blue Sun. Following a series of international shows in Europe and Canada, as well as high-profile festival appearances at the prestigious Newport Jazz Festival and Blue Note Jazz Festival, André 3000’s new US tour gets started on September 19th in New Orleans before winding down with a hometown show at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on November 14. Tickets for the newly announced dates for New Blue Sun – Live In Concert will go on sale on Friday, June 28th, at 10:00 a.m. local time. (Consequence of Sound)
