In case you haven’t heard, Gracie Abrams released a collaboration with Taylor Swift called “Us”. Well, Gracie says the song came to be during an all-nighter at Taylor’s place, after lots and lots of wine.
During one of their trips to the kitchen for “probably wine”, a fire erupted on the center island from a candle that was burning all night. Taylor was quick to grab a fire extinguisher, and after minutes of trying to get it to work, she finally put it out.
Gracie says, quote, “We both had crazy chest coughs for weeks after because the whole kitchen was covered in smoke . . . That was a really good night. No one got hurt. We actually both got burned from the wax and all that stuff . . .
“It was gnarly, but it was funny.”
