“Friends” is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The series premiered September 22nd, 1994 and lasted 10 seasons, until its finale in 2004.
If you’re into astrology, “People” magazine determined which character relates to each of the twelve zodiac signs. Some of them are REALLY minor characters, though.
Here they are:
1. Aries: Chandler Bing
2. Taurus: Rachel Green
3. Gemini: Mr. Treeger (He was the super of the building the characters lived in.)
4. Cancer: Mr. Heckles (Monica and Rachel’s downstairs neighbor, who would bang a broom on the ceiling if he thought they were being too noisy.)
5. Leo: Mike Hannigan (Paul Rudd’s character, who eventually married Phoebe.)
6. Virgo: Monica Gellar
7. Libra: Ross Gellar
8. Scorpio: Gunther (The Central Perk worker who had a crush on Rachel.)
9. Sagittarius: Janice Litman-Goralnik (The woman with the super-annoying laugh who kept dipping in and out of Chandler’s life.)
10. Capricorn: Joey Tribbiani
11. Aquarius: Phoebe Buffay
12. Pisces: Richard Burke (Monica’s older boyfriend, played by Tom Selleck.)
Also, in honor of the anniversary, Max put together collections of episodes, like “Best of” for each character and “The One with the Celebrity Guest”.
