January is National Blood Donation Month – John Spalding, 104.5 WFMB Morning Show Host learns more about the blood donation process from Tara Matheson, Director of Donor Recruitment at Impact Life.

Many variables can impact the blood inventories at Impact Life –  such as weather, holidays or tragic events.  Every day, patients who need blood are in crisis and you can help them by volunteering to donate.  

Furthermore, less than 10% of the population gives blood, so donors that give on a regular basis are important to meet these needs.
