AM Springfield’s Sam Madonia had an opportunity speak with CEO and President of Woodward Communications, Inc. (WCI), Tom Woodward, on Thursday morning’s show. Tom revealed some of Woodward’s long history, his personal start in radio when he was a teenager, and what makes WCI so unusual it’s among just 1% of all companies in the United States.
WCI recently acquired seven Illinois radio stations, including Springfield’s 104.5 WFMB (WFMB-FM), 99-7 The MIX (WXAJ-FM), 96.7 BOB FM (WCVS-FM), and Sports Radio 92.3 FM/1450 AM (WFMB-AM). Read more about the purchase here.
